While some Flyers prospects were letting down an entire country of underage hockey fans, one was doing his job this weekend. Unlike me who is dreading returning to work tomorrow for the beginning of the first real work week in what seems like months, Zach Rinaldo, the Flyers 6th round draft pick this past summer, had a goal and two fights in two wins for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. Rinaldo is by no means setting the OHL on fire in his second season, but the 18 year old forward is showing good personal development as he's almost reached his point total for last season only 34 games into this one. Rinaldo, who is listed at 5'11 and 180 lbs but is probably a bit smaller, is currently third in the league in penalty minutes. We may not see this guy in a Flyers uniform, or even a Phantoms one, for a long time. But if he continues to play this brand of hockey you can be assured that there will be some place for him in professional hockey. And if not hockey, definitely as a magician - The Great Rinaldo!
