Flyers lose to Phantoms, we don't care.

On the night that we learned that Ryan Parent will not be with the team this year for 3-4 months, the Flyers played uninspired hockey to lose to their AHL-affiliate. Nittymaki looked sharp playing for the Phantoms, and hopefully that means we can throw JS Aubin into a Souf Philly dumpster. Riley Cote did not impress me at all, keeping the mitts on. The pregame ceremony was great, with old Flyers raising the two Championship banners one more time. Video below of the ceremony. Frankly, we here at FGSB don't really give a shit about a game like this, and it looked like neither did the Flyers. All focus should be on Saturday. Starting the season right is all that the Flyers should be focusing on, not worrying about Nate Guenin or anyone else wearing purple uniforms.
